At the ALA Mid-winter conference, Sirsi Dynix has announced that they will be sponsoring the two main islands in the Info Island Project on Second Life.
This sponsorship will support Info Island, run by the Alliance Library System and the Teen Second Life space, headed by the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. Its very exciting news and it will be very interesting to see what happen with this support.
